Holding fast to the rocky coast like the barnacles below them, townspeople's homes cluster around this harbor. Enjoying both beautiful views and the fragrance of the sea, they must also endure bouts of gale force storms.

Timeless in tradition but running low on time, many of Newfoundland's fishing communities are feeling the pressures of an unsupportive government and the competition of intenrnational fishing fleets.
